Battery Capacity

The PitchLinq - Coach has a 2000mah battery. It is recommended to turn the unit off in between innings.

Communication Distance

The PitchLinq-Coach is able to communicate with a PitchLinq-Player up to 90 meters (line of sight) away, so well within the infield of any baseball or softball field.

Choosing which PitchLinq - Player to send a pitch/message to

To send to all PitchLinq - Player units that are on

  • Select the pitch or message and click the green send button

To send to a specific PitchLinq - Player group

  • All units are grouped by either pitcher or catcher

  • Select the pitch or message, then select which group you would like to send to and click the green send button

Unit power-off and charging

PitchLinq - Coach. Slide the power switch to off and plug in a USB-A to USB-C cable into the usb port. The unit will power on, but it is still charging (this is normal). The DONE light will illuminate when it is finished charging.

PitchLinq - Player

Dimensions

The PitchLinq - Player measures 2”x1.6”x0.6” and uses 22mm quick release elastic nylon watch strap that adjusts from 5.6”- 8.8”.

Battery Capacity

The PitchLinq - Player has a 500mah battery. It is recommended to turn the unit off in between innings.

Communication Distance

The PitchLinq - Player is able to receive pitch calls and messages up to 90 meters (line of sight) away, so well within the infield of any baseball or softball field.

Unit power-off and charging

PitchLinq - Player. Plug in a USB-A to USB-C cable into the usb port on the right side of the unit. Then power the unit off by pressing and holding the bottom button for > 6 seconds. The unit will be charged to 100% after 2hrs.

PitchLinq - Coach. Design time can vary depending on amount of customization. Estimated 1-3 weeks.

PitchLinq - Player. These are ready to go out of the box.

Communications security

If there are other teams in the tournament using PitchLinq none of the other teams can pick up your pitch calls or messages. Hardcoded into each PitchLinq - Coach are the unique identifiers of each of the PitchLinq - Player units that you order.

Ordering additional PitchLinq - Player Units

Should you choose to order additional PitchLinq - Player units, after you have received your PitchLinq - Coach, you will need to ship back the PitchLinq - Coach for reprogramming. The additional PitchLinq - Player units unique identifiers MUST be hardcoded into your PitchLinq - Coach in order for those PitchLinq - Player units to receive pitch calls or messages, this ensures communications security. Once the upload is completed I will ship back your PitchLinq - Coach and the additional PitchLinq - Player units purchased.
